SOIREE BRIDAL SALON

Soiree a bridal boutique offers beautiful bridal gowns and excellent service for a day you’ll always treasure!  Cozy seating areas surrounding the runway create the perfect setting for the brides' family & friends to enjoy the gown selection process. Soiree's guests are treated to wedding cake made by cake designer Becky Wolf. Our goal with Soiree is to create an enchanted environment for that magical and memorable moment when the bride finds, 'the one perfect dress'!

Soiree is a full service bridal salon, and we have carefully assembled an amazing collection of Bridal Gowns, Bridesmaids Dresses, Mothers Gowns, Flower Girl Dresses, Tuxes, Shoes,

Accessories and more to meet the needs of today’s bride. So whatever your hearts desire, whatever the budget, Soiree has something perfect and gorgeous just for you!

We do recommend making an appointment if at all possible so that you won’t have to wait for a fitting room or consultant. Walk-ins are absolutely welcome anytime at Soiree, just be aware there may be a wait involved on weekends and during the peak periods.  We will do our best to get you in as quickly as possible.  Also it is a great idea to bring along a couple people who's opinion matters most to you.  Cake samples are available on Saturdays & some Sundays.

So, What exactly is Soiree?

 We agree it is a difficult word, but it has a great meaning, and it's French, just like the founder of Dubuque. Soiree (swah-rey): A party or gathering usually in the evening, especially for a particular purpose.  Soiree, a Dubuque Bridal and Women’s Clothing Boutique is a chic shopping environment, adorned with white crown molding, beautiful drapery, whimsical white chandeliers, and complete with its very own fashion runway.

While a large portion of Soiree’s business is wedding related, Soiree has a great assortment of women’s casual clothing, shoes, accessories and dresses for any occasion.  The shop-within-a-shop concept has been developed to mimic a trendy urban boutique.  Much of the inventory is bought in the New York City Garment district and shipped back.  Soiree caters to Women and Young Women who enjoy fashion, and keeping their wardrobes fresh. Soiree customers also appreciate the one on one attention they receive to help create just the right look.  If you long to be that girl who everyone asks, “I love that, where did you get it?”, stop in and see us at Soiree! 

On Handbags

The shop also has developed a reputation for great handbags.  Soiree held it’s first ever tent sale in the parking lot in April of 2007.  Savvy shoppers flocked to the event to find the perfect Spring accessories.  Since then Soiree has held several tent sales and has also used them as fundraisers for various organizations.  Handbags are on display year round, however the variety is the best during a tent sale event. 

On Birthday Parties

In the true spirit of fun, Birthday Parties have become another splendid offering from Soiree.  The parties have been a terrific way to expand the Soiree brand.  There is a runway in the store, why not put it to good use!  The birthday girl and entourage first have a makeup demonstration and are adorned with a sparkle up-do and tiara, just like Miss America.   The girls go “back stage” to dress up in princess or glam-like fashion, and learn to put on a fashion show.  Finally we say goodbye to the blissful party goers but not before shopping for party favors, eating yummy cake and snapping lots of pictures of course.

JUST WHO ARE THE GIRLS BEHIND SOIREE?

Lisa Kalb Attea, Lynn (Kalb) Breithaupt and Kelly Kalb, we are three sisters who grew up in Dubuque, Iowa. We are business partners, sisters and the best of friends! We grew up inspired every day by our creative, hard working and entrepreneurial parents, Mark & Cheri Kalb. They make anything seem possible if you work hard enough. Thanks Mom & Dad! We have always had a passion for fashion of course, holding runway shows in our living room and playing, "Mall", yes, this consisted of turning the house into a series of boutiques so that we could "pretend shop" all day long with monopoly money. So you see, Soiree is our dream come true!

Soiree is conveniently located in the Kennedy Mall off HWY 20  in Dubuque, Iowa.

Soiree will be open the same hours as the mall, however...Bridal Gown Appoinments will only be available during the follwing hours or by special request due to staffing requirements. Tuxedo, Bridesmaids, Flower Girls, and Accessories may all be shopped during regular mall hours as well as by appointment.  We encourage appointments so that you don't have to wait for a fitting room however, walk-ins are always welcome.
